My Fashion Guru...

Something personal about your blogger Best Friend:

My best friend Erica Kern has a great sense of fashion... She's actually my "fashion guru," my go to person of everything fashion!

She attended a party this past Saturday, December 18, 2010. The name of the party was a "Ludacris-mas” and was held at Jason Hope’s beautiful home in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was a “White Party”…unfortunately, she doesn't own anything white so she had to run out and buy a dress.

This is what she found:

Its an FCUK dress and it was priced over $300.00. It definitely is worth the cost when attending a celebrity filled party. In attendance, Ludacris, Bruce Jenner, Snooki, Lo Bosworth, Stephanie Pratt, Dean Cain, and Giuliana & Bill Rancic.

A little bit more about this mysterious girl, Erica Kern:

We grew up together in a small town, our teenage years were a bit crazy... Frequent visits to Mexico were part of daily routine ha-ha. Our next adventure in life will be together, taking over Hollywood... I wouldn't do it with a much better friend!

She's a model with Ford Modeling Agency and has appeared on countless Ad's and commercials.

Her television "reality" debut was on the show "The City" on MTV starring Whitney Port and her world of fashion.

William Rast for Target

Justin Timberlake and his partner Trace Ayala have launched there clothing for William Rast at Target for ONLY a limited time!

Its an amazing clothing line and now sold at a reasonable price. Both Anna Farris and Rachel Bilson attended the clothing line launch party with Target. The clothing line will hit stores December 19th, 2010 and is being labeled as "bike bohemia, rebelliously priced, ONLY for a limited time at Target."

I definitely recommend everyone taking a look at this clothing line for Target

The Nerd is "IN"

This trend has been around for awhile now, but as of late every entertainment news show is doing a story on it. The glasses are pretty cool even if you don't need to wear them to help correct your vision.

The big black rim glasses are hot this season for both him and her. Geek chic and retro dressing seems to be back in fashion with the big bold chic geeky frames of the eighties era making a comeback in style.

Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber and actress Scarlett Johannson, have been all photographed making a flashback to the 1980's thick glasses. Different looks like Oxford chic round rimmed frame, cat eyed glasses, Mickey Mouse and Tom Ford frames, rounded and vintage wayfarers are included under the name "nerd" glasses sported by those who want to make an unusual style statement.

Polyvore is a great site for you ladies who may have trouble putting an outfit together. Making life much easier for us guys!

How I came across this site.... My friend Erica Kern is attending the Ford / Robert Black Models Christmas party in a few weeks and needed a bit of inspiration for something to wear. She came across this website, Polyvore. You pick and choose what items you would like to wear and it makes a collage for you of the items you have selected. When you click on the final items, it will tell you where you can buy it and the price of that item.

Its an awesome site, you all have to check it out!

P.S. it actually works, my friend achieved in finding her looks!

Rihanna Album "LOUD" AMAZING!

I have always like Rihanna's music and had an interest, but now with the latest album out I am overly OBSESSED with her and URGE everyone to purchase her new Album "Loud."

The album dropped on November 16th and it has tracks that are upbeat that radiate excitement. There are songs on the album with Nicki Minaj and Drake. The Album is very sexual and will put you in a good mood!

I give this album 5 stars, RiRi is making herself into household name...

My best friend Erica Kern has a good friend Brett Novek who lost his father a while back to Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He started this amazing clothing line to bring awareness to the disease and help make a difference and finding a cure for cancer. They are awesome shirts with a great "phrase" written on them, my personal favorite and the one I own is "my life story will be a good one"
